Taking Your Self Assessment
For your Self-Assessment in your Careers Unlocked course, you will need to register on the external GSS website.
The RIASEC Test measure 6 characteristics: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. The questions will assess your aspirations, activities, skills and interest to help you discover career field that will likely be satisfying to you
In order to do the test, please follow the instructions below. You may watch the video or read the instructions.
Step 2: Once signed in, go to the Career Unlocked course and click on "Start Learning" or "Continue Learning"
Scroll down to Self-Assessment and click on same.
Step 3: The module will be opened up as shown in first image. Click on here and you will be taken to a page where you should sign up. ]
If you have already signed up and want to review your results, resume or retake the test, enter your email address and password.
Step 4: Once you have successfully signed up, you will be taken to the test page.
Click on "Take The Test"
Step 5: This test consists of approximately 40 questions. Click on the preferred answer until finished.
Step 6: Congratulations, you have completed the test
Click on "Check my results"
You will get career recommendations based on your RIASEC Code.
